How MultiValue Central Turned Cybersecurity into Fun and Culture

What is MultiValue Central?
For over 40 years, MultiValue Central has been delivering cutting-edge technology, talent, and learning solutions across the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Their team of experts helps companies not only find the right tech solutions but also stay safe in an increasingly complex digital world.
Their IT professionals already mastered the basics: strong passwords, safe screen sharing, and awareness of AI-related risks. The real challenge? Building a cybersecurity culture that went beyond awareness, one that employees would actually enjoy and that would meet audit and compliance standards effortlessly.
The challenge
Traditional cybersecurity training wasn’t cutting it. Because the IT team already had the knowledge in cybersecurity, the training based on reading materials felt tedious and uninteresting for the team. “It was just too boring. They would never finish it,” remembers Pacita Vasquez, HR manager.
MultiValue Central needed more than just a cybersecurity training program. They were looking for a solution that would not only simplify audit compliance but also truly engage their team in building a lasting culture of cybersecurity.
The2025 SANS Report reveals that many organizations face the same challenge. Among more than 2,700 programs analyzed, 1,075 were classified at level 3 of the SANS Maturity Model, “Promoting Awareness and Behavior Change.” Yet, only 666 reached level 4, “Long-Term Culture Change.” MultiValue Central, however, understood what was needed to make that leap.
The Turning Point
MultiValue Central discovered Hacker Rangers through online research and quickly realized that its 100% gamified experience was exactly what they needed.
With leaderboards, animated videos, and performance scores, Hacker Rangers brought the fun and engagement their IT team needed to build a strong cybersecurity culture.
In their very first season, 100% of MultiValue’s IT team completed all tasks on the Hacker Rangers platform, and 99% successfully finished every quiz.
Since then, the IT team has remained highly engaged with the program. And not only within the company but beyond it! “At home, they share what they learn with their families and even with their kids,” says Pacita.
The platform’s detailed administrative reports, along with the certifications that validate each company’s maturity level, helped MultiValue Central confidently address its audit concerns and demonstrate real progress.
And now?
Now in their third season, MultiValue Central has already received an average of 3,9 cyberattitudes per user. Completion rates continue to climb, with 100% of users having completed all available quizzes and tasks.
For the company, cyberattitudes have become an essential part of daily operations, especially in detecting suspicious emails. Pacita constantly reminds the team to stay alert for malicious messages and to question any unexpected requests.
When it comes to ranks achieved, the IT team stands out. Most members have reached the White Hat rank, one of the highest levels on the Hacker Rangers platform.
“The Hacker Rangers program delivered some of the most practical, hands-on cybersecurity training I’ve ever experienced. It sharpened my skills and gave me the confidence to handle real-world threats.” Says John Nunziato, CEO of MultiValue Central.
“Hacker Rangers gave me elite, real-world cybersecurity training that I could put to use immediately” , adds Pacita Vasquez.
MultiValue Central has also excelled in achieving certifications. The White, Red, and even Black Hacker Rangers certifications are now proudly displayed on their website, symbolizing their advanced maturity level in cybersecurity.
“As CAS at MultiValue Central, I can see that the progress they’ve made during their journey with Hacker Rangers continues and gets better with each season. Furthermore, I see their great commitment, concern, and dedication to being aware of the need to protect their customers, employees, and the company itself. I’m very proud to see their dedication,” says Erika, Multivalue Central’s security awareness specialist.
Future
Now entering their fourth season — and having already renewed their Hacker Rangers Black Certification — Multivalue Central continues to drive the awareness program forward in a consistent, ongoing way. With new cycles, lessons, challenges, and, most importantly, plenty of fun, the team keeps cybersecurity engagement alive year after year.
